Judy-Douglas-2Judy has spent more than 15 years in the corporate environment with blue chip companies including MLC Life, SmithKline Beecham, Goodman Fielder and AGL Energy.

When crafting employee communications, Judy combines marketing skills she gained as MLC’s Brand Manager with a strong people focus, a legacy of her experience working within HR functions at Goodman Fielder and AGL Energy, where she led Employee Communications for both businesses.

She’s been a line manager and people leader, and enlisted the services of many external consultants, so she has a practical perspective on what works and what doesn’t, and what companies need when engaging external services.

She’s passionate about the role that communications plays in leadership and is convinced that if only leaders said ‘thank you’ and ‘great job’ to their people a little more often, the corporate world would be a much nicer and more productive place to work.

Judy’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English from Macquarie University and a Masters of Business in Marketing from University of Technology.
