Intranet – Commonwealth Bank
Part of small project team to build two new intranets. Contribution included content review of existing site (2,000+ pages) and engaging and co-training more than 60 new intranet authors. Both new sites were launched within 4 months, providing core business tools for 6,000+ CBA employees.
Values – NSW Lotteries
Provided communications counsel and support for the delivery of new company values for NSW Lotteries, including a new visual identity for the values, stakeholder engagement workshops for leaders and launch communications and events for all employees. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Values – AGL Energy
Played a key role in determining and communicating new company values for AGL Energy, including developing a visual identity, establishing a values brand presence across multiple sites and incorporating values into key business processes like reward and recognition, leadership development and performance management.
Wrote a number of extended Good Weekend-style feature articles to prepare employees for the arrival of a new CEO or senior executive– detailing their experience, priorities, working style and personal interests. These articles lay key groundwork for the executive prior to their arrival and helped enlist the advance goodwill of employees.
Magazines and Newsletters
Wrote numerous employee magazines and newsletters including ‘Get Connected’ – an 8-page A3 broadsheet magazine to mark the establishment of the new AGL business following the demerger – and used to promote the company to both internal and external audiences, including major investors.
Financial Results Roadshows
Prepared content and creative elements for more than twelve financial results roadshows for Goodman Fielder and AGL employees – all delivered by the CEO or senior executive.
Sustainability and Annual Reporting
Researched and wrote copy of ‘People’ and ‘Community’ sections for three of AGL’s annual and sustainability reports, to showcase the business achievements, priorities and progress against previous commitments.
Reward and Recognition
Developed and launched the ‘Local Heroes’ reward and recognition program for Goodman Fielder’s 10,500 employees and developed e thankyou cards, promotion elements and intranet content for AGL’s recognition program.
Designed a number of musical openers as a cost effective but entertaining way to open (or close) an internal event. Each uses a PowerPoint show with impactful images, statements and music to support a key business message.
Project managed the development of numerous corporate videos for results roadshows and leadership events, with input including development of storyboards, scripting, image selection and production coordination.
Managed internal communications through two hostile corporate takeovers, consolidation of 14 sites to a single location and a major business restructure which resulted in the retrenchment of more than 1,000 employees.
Led the site mapping, content and visual design streams for the development and launch of AGL Energy’s new company-wide intranet. Managed the content for the intranet’s home page as well as a number of HR sites.
